Most of all, when we fight, we take sides, we defend our arguments without wavering and then we all make up, and we’re laughing together again…”

The fandom is what makes Supernatural so enjoyable.

Now here’s a view of the SPN fandom I can get behind. I know there’s been a lot of fighting lately, and I know there will be PLENTY more to come. We will NEVER all agree with each other. We will NEVER all completely get along.

But you know what? That’s what family is.

To quote Bobby: 

Are you under the impression that family’s supposed to make you feel good? Make you an apple pie, maybe? They’re supposed to make you miserable! That’s why they’re family.

It’s okay to agree with other fans. It’s okay to disagree. It’s okay to get squicked out by some fans’ pairings. It’s okay to argue differing opinions on different characters. It’s okay to hate certain episodes or seasons or, yes, even characters.

This is what happens when you have a large family with a wide variety of members.

Just remember we are all here for the same show, just like in reality we are all part of the same world. There will be good times, there will be bad. We will laugh and cry and clash and connect and hopefully, if we work at it, the good will outweigh the bad.
